Welcome to WellTao (“the App”, “we”, “us”). These Terms of Service constitute a legal agreement between you (“User”) and us. By downloading, registering, or using the App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: MEDICAL DISCLAIMER

All wellness and constitution-related information in the App (including AI-generated content) is based on general wellness knowledge and principles of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). This App is not a medical device and must not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

If you experience symptoms or have medical conditions, you should consult a qualified healthcare provider. The App assumes no responsibility for outcomes resulting from misuse of Health Information except where prohibited by law.

1. Definitions

• User: A natural person using the App.
• Subscription Service: Auto-renewing subscription purchased via Apple App Store.
• Personal Data: Information that can identify you.

2. Account Registration and Use

• You may sign in using Sign in with Apple.
• The App is intended for adult users with full civil capacity.
• Minors must use the App with guardian consent.

Children Under 13

The App does not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts or use the constitution test or AI features.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

3. License & Intellectual Property

You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the App.

You may not distribute, resell, or transfer the App to any third party.

IP Claims

We (not Apple) are responsible for handling intellectual property claims.

4. Purchases & Subscription Services

• Payments and billing are handled by Apple via your Apple ID.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before expiration.
• Refunds must be submitted directly to Apple; we cannot issue refunds.

5. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy:

• It is not medical advice.
• AI-generated content has limitations.

7. Account Cancellation

You may request deletion via the App or email. Data cannot be restored once deleted.

8. Updates & Support

We may release updates periodically. Apple is not responsible for support or maintenance of the App.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “AS IS”. We are not liable for damages arising from:

• Use or inability to use the App
• Unauthorized access
• Service interruptions
• Viruses or malicious code

Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.

10. Modification & Termination

We may modify this Agreement. Continued use means acceptance.
